At Belgrade Cooperative, farmers know us as their full-service provider for nutrient management, precision ag services, seed selection, crop protection and fuel delivery needs. Residential and commercial customers rely on our timely propane delivery service to keep their homes and businesses warm in the winter. And everyone in the Belgrade area knows of our convenience store – Coop’s Corner – as the one-stop shop for a number of great products including Cenex gasoline and freshly prepared foods.
While different components of our business and even our name has changed since we were founded as Central Minnesota Cooperative Oil Company back in 1927, our commitment to providing quality customer service has always been our top priority.

The Belgrade Co-op is governed by a seven-person board with a 12-year term limit. The board of directors is made up of local agricultural leaders who are not just recognized for their expertise, but for their willingness to volunteer their skills to the betterment of the cooperation. Their objective is to uphold the mission of the co-op and position the organization for future success and profitability for its members.
Justin lives south of Belgrade and is in his 1st year on the board. He farms a little over 500 acres with his father. They plant corn, peas, soybeans, oats and alfalfa. They also raise beef cows, Holstein and colored steers, and custom finish hogs.
Chad lives north of Belgrade on his family farm and is in his 5th year on the board. He farms 750 acres of corn, beans, small grain and hay. He also has a herd of beef cow-calf pairs.
Jeremy lives in Atwater and is in his 2nd year on the board. He farms 2,200 acres of corn, soybeans, peas and sweet corn.
Gary lives in Belgrade and is in his 4th year on the board; he holds the position of vice-chair. He has been a member of the co-op his entire life and farms with his wife, Kim, in partnership with his brother, Allen. They were dairy farmers before selling the herd in 2013 and now raise corn and soybeans on 750 owned acres and 250 rented.
Lee farms corn and soybeans in Murdock and Sunburg area with his wife, Stephanie and their three children. They are members of the Salem Covenant Church in Pennock. Lee is very involved in mission opportunities in Honduras, Haiti, and India. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Sandy Bay Lighthouse ministries and supervises the onsite solar farm all while managing their gardens. Lee has also created a self-sustainable fish farm in Honduras where they are currently raising 19,000 tilapia. Lee has been with Belgrade Co-op for over 29 years.
Mark lives by New London and has been on the board for six years. He is in his 1st year as President. He farms 1,200 acres of soybeans and corn in addition to his beef cattle.
