Eligibility/Requirements to be nominated as a Board of Director
- Must be a voting member of Belgrade Coop
- As a voting member you must meet the qualifications set forth in the bylaws that state an ag producing member purchasing a minimum of $10,000 worth of inputs from Belgrade Coop within the fiscal year.
- Meet the qualification requirements set forth by the Board of Directors
Brief Description of the Process:
- Belgrade Cooperative Board of Directors has approved the process to use mail-in voting for beginning in 2026 to serve 3-year terms for the Belgrade Coop. With this new process, you can expect to see:
- 30-day period to submit nominations of voting members to be considered for a Board of Director position.
- Due Diligence done on behalf of the nominating committee to ensure qualifications are met to be eligible to be place on the ballot for a Board of Director position.
- Ballots to be sent out to all voting members no less than 14 days ahead of the Annual Meeting.
- Ballots to be tabulated and a decision announcing the results as part of the Annual Meeting of Belgrade Co-op.
